Pricing
Our online reservation system calculates price as you make a reservation. Just begin entering your reservation and check the price at the bottom of the page. It changes to reflect the times and locations associated with your trip.

Locations Outside of San Juan del Sur
Locations outside of the immediate San Juan del Sur area require time-consuming travel over vehicle-consuming roads. As a service to our customers, we go this additional distance for a nominal additional fee.
This is a flat fee for each trip and is not increased for additional passengers in the same van. It is added for destinations including Playa Marsella, El Nido B&B, Bulldog Inn, Los Miradoras, Paraiso de Amalia and Mango Rosa.
Anything Cheaper
Nicaragua offers some of the best total-trip-cost values in the world. Within that total, transportation may seem closer to what it costs in other countries than does the cost of food, lodging, and other expenses. The reason for this is simple: vehicles actually cost more here than in the US, because of high import duties. Fuel also costs significantly more. Tires and other maintenance items are similarly expensive.

Adelante Express works within these constraints to offer the lowest fares possible that ensure the reliability, comfort, and safety that you and our other customers expect and deserve. Offering a comparable service "cheaper" is simply not sustainable: Something has to give, which typically jeopardizes your safety or comfort, or degrades reliability. Or employees may be cheated of their social security or health care benefits.

Even a competitor that may undercut prices is hurt, because those prices are unsustainable: Vehicles break down due to poor maintenance. There's no capital for vehicle replacement; and ultimately, they are left with only a reputation for cheap service they can no longer deliver.

Policies and Legal Statements
Adelante Express reserves the right to refuse service to anyone. We will not accept as passengers anyone who is obviously drunk, intoxicated, belligerent or hostile. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for transportation.

Policy on Waiting for Passengers
Adelante Express can wait for a passenger no more than ten minutes past that passenger's scheduled pickup time if doing so may cause other passengers to be late for a flight or to suffer a significant consequence for late arrival at their destination(s).
In such situations, all reasonable effort will be made to arrange other transportation. All additional cost for such other transportation will be the sole responsibility of the passenger.

Managua Pickup Times
In Managua, our first pickup location is the airport. This means there is a possibility of late flights delaying pickups at other locations. If this happens, we make every effort to keep all passengers informed, and to provide alternatives if the delay is extended.

Limits of Responsibility
Adelante Express is not responsible for delays caused by accidents, civil disturbances, damage to the highway, extreme weather or other acts of God. We are not responsible for direct or indirect consequences of our performance, or lack thereof, including, but not limited to, failure to arrive on time for a flight, meeting or other event, and loss of lodging reservation or other service due to late arrival.

Adelante Express offers a 100% money back guarantee to all confirmed reservations* in the event we do not provide the service paid for according to the terms and conditions below. *Confirmed reservations and confirmed passengers are those that have been PAID IN FULL prior to scheduled pick up time.

AIRPORT PICKUP INFORMATION Our driver will be waiting for you outside the double glass doors of baggage claim, and he/she will be holding the ADELANTE EXPRESS PASSENGER name sign. If there is any difficulty in locating the driver, please call Nicaraguan phone number 8325.9074 for assistance.

FLIGHT DELAY GUARANTEE Flight delays are common all over the globe. Adelante Express will wait for a confirmed Adelante Express passenger up to 45 minutes after the scheduled arrival time. If no other passengers have reserved the same shuttle as the delayed passenger AND there are no other scheduling constraints, Adelante Express will gladly wait for the passenger at no extra fee. In the unfortunate event that we have to leave the airport without a confirmed Adelante Express passenger, we will make other transportation arrangements for the delayed passenger; however, Adelante Express is not responsible for the additional cost this special arrangement may incur.

CANCELLATION POLICY Any cancellation made prior to 24 hours before the scheduled pick up time is without penalty and the customer is entitled to a full refund minus any transfer surcharges by third parties. A cancellation made within 24 hours or after scheduled pick up time is subject to full fare and gratuity charges. Cancellation must be made by phone or email in order to qualify for full refund. -

TERMS & CONDITIONS - GRATUITY Normal gratuity in Nicaragua is 10%-15% of the total reservation costs, depending on your satisfaction with the driver's service. PAYMENTS All payments and deposits are NON-refundable unless reservation is cancelled more than 24 hours prior to the scheduled pick up time. DELAYS Adelante Express is not responsible for delays in service due to traffic conditions, emergency medical circumstance, mechanical malfunction, or any acts of God.
